Mark Strother, President

Mr. Strother is the Executive Vice President COO at Cal Farley's. He has an Associate Degree in Construction Technology from Texas State Technical College.  At the University of Phoenix, he earned an BS degree in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Education - Diverse Learner.

Jim Taylor, Vice President

Jim has been in the youth care field since 1981 beginning as a direct youth worker at TYC in Gainesville, TX and eventually ending his career at Boys Ranch after 20 years of service in training and administration.  He earned his B.S. in English and Psychology at HSU in Arkansas and his Masters in Childcare Administration from NOVA Southeastern in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  He and his wife, Maggie, have two wonderful daughters. 

Jacque Branch, Secretary

Over 27 years of experience in the asset management business, Jacque is currently a Vice president and Trust Officer in the Asset Management Division of Amarillo National Bank.  She is a graduate of West Texas State University with a BBA in Finance and is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.  Jacque is a member and past President of the Amarillo Area Estate Planning Council.  She, and her husband Randy, have two children and are members of Hillside Christian Church. 

Joshua Sprock, Member

Mr. Sprock is the Staff Development Coordinator at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Chadron State College. He is a TBRI Educator, a Master SAMA Facilitator, and NMT Trainer. He and his wife, April, have worked at Boys Ranch for 16 years: 3 years as a House Parent, 8 years as a Campus Life Supervisor, and 6 years in the Training Department. They have three wonderful children who attend BRISD.

Tim Nation, Member

Mr. Nation retired from Boys Ranch in 2021 after 20 years of service. He began his tenure as a houseparent in the girls’ community and then progressed into other positions, including job mentoring and teaching wildlife management at Boys Ranch High School in his role as a mentor in the Gardening Experiential Learning Program.  “Boys Ranch is part of me, and I’m excited to have a way to serve again,” Nation said. Mr. Nation attended Toccoa Falls College in Georgia, where he majored in Christian counseling. He and his wife, Susan, raised five children and now enjoy 18 grandchildren.
